Thanks for everything yesterday! Our tour of Norte Dame was truly special!! Jessica shared insights we would never have imagined.. The level of detailed explanations of all the eras (starting in 300BC) provided us with incredible historical depth in a truly engaging storytelling way.. Jessica captured our imaginations! It was as if we were there during every era and with all 2000 people.. that contributed to the miracles of the restoration of Norte Dame after tragedy..She even shared a few “Easter Egg” moments (e.g. shadows of images from new lighting..that we would not have otherwise known were there). A truly unique and incredible Tour Guide.. enhancing our knowledge of Norte Dame.. In ways we couldn’t have imagined, even though all of us have been there several times before over the last 30 to 40 years

We booked our Louvre tour with Tours in Paris and Louise was our guide for the day! Despite having been to the Louvre many times (and having been in a few tours), I was amazed at how much new information I learned! Louise was FANTASTIC, informative, and kept the tour going at a great pace! Honestly, 2 hours will never be enough to see everything but it was a perfect way to hit the highlights and discover it in a new way - whether it is your first or 100th time! Highly recommend!

Flora with Flore was incredible to work with through the booking process. I had a lot of questions, time restrictions, and specific needs that she graciously worked around to find the right option for us, even at the last minute.
We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Ben!
It was so helpful to have him navigate us through entry, the crowds, through to the Egyptian wing, and even show us how to get to a few highlights we wanted to see outside of the Egyptian collection. His guidance through the museum as a whole made our experience relaxing when it would otherwise have been very chaotic and overwhelming on a busy day. His knowledge of the Egyptian collection was outstanding and as someone who has casually studied Egyptology for the past 25 years myself, I learned so much from him. He also made it fun and easy for my husband to understand with much less Egyptian knowledge! Ben has a wonderful way of making stories come to life with funny poses, jokes, and adding his own personality into the tour. We also appreciated meeting someone our age who has young kids! Of course that was just an added perk to be with someone who could relate to us since we were on our babymoon.

Our group had a wonderful 6 hour walking tour with with Marijke. She is very knowledgeable about the art history and architecture of Paris. We saw all of the sites we had on our list. Paris is a walking city and Marijke made our tour fun, informative, and memorable.

Our tour guide Cinthia was a phenomenal guide! We was super knowledgeable about every subject that we has questions and we could feel how passionate and knowledgeable she was about history and art! We met Caroline at the designated location for our Notre Dame tour. Caroline is a delight, very knowledgeable and I learned so much about the history of Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle and Conciergerie. My husband and I booked two tours through Private Tours in Paris. Both were excellent. Our first tour was a WWII French Resistance tour with the friendly and knowledgeable Margot. She was happy to stop along the way and share her considerable knowledge about the rebuilding of Notre Dame. We shared a cup of coffee in a beautiful hidden park she showed us when we were done. The next day we toured the Musee D'Orsay with the equally enthusiastic art history buff, Marijke. She showed us her favorites and was totally flexible about the agenda. These tours are not inexpensive but in my experience with guides, you get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

If I could rate these Private Tours in Paris higher than 5 Stars I would certainly do so.
The communication with Flore from the start (way back in December 2024) all the way through our tours in September was always superb. Quick responses and always with good humor. She worked with us to get the combination of tours that we hoped for to maximize our time in Paris.
Our guide, Melanie, we cannot sing her praises loudly enough. We were with her for two days in the Louvre - six hours each day (3 hours-then lunch-then 3 more hours) and a three hour tour of d'Orsay on a third day. Melanie's knowledge and her enthusiasm for art and history shown through consistently in our time with her. She exceeded our expectations at every turn.
We plan to return to Paris and want to do yet another full day in the Louvre and another half day in d'Orsay and add in a tour of the Palais Garnier. We ABSOLUTELY will go through Flore for these tours and ABSOLUTELY will have to have Melanie as our guide.
We recommend Private Tours in Paris, Flore, and Melanie without reservation. If you want an incredible experience, do yourself a favor and use them for your time in Paris.

Our tour of Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle was excellent. Our guide, Louise, was engaging and knowledgeable. We left with a deep appreciation for the beauty and splendor of Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle, but also gained a better understanding of the history of both places and of France in general. My family of 3 visited Paris in late July. We used Private Tours in Paris for tours of the Louvre and Sainte-Chapelle/Notre Dame.
We were very impressed by Flore and her team. From the start, Flore was extremely helpful with planning and recommendations for our time in Paris. Flore helped us plan two different tours. She also helped provide an English speaking tour guide, Louise.
Louise was a fantastic tour guide. Her depth of knowledge in French history and arts was quite impressive. Louise was able to help us navigate the Louvre very efficiently. This led to us being able to see many exhibits on our list in just 3. hours. Later in our trip Louise helped us tour Sainte-Chapelle and Notre Dame. Louise made sure that our 12 yo son saw everything and got all his questions answered.
Flore and the team are excellent. If you're visiting Paris and need help really seeing and learning all that Paris has to offer, you should definitely contact them.
10/10 would recommend.

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! It was incredible. Mélanie was amazing - knowledgeable, funny, relatable. I had an injury so needed to move a bit slower; she was very patient and accommodating. She even made sure we got to see the Mona Lisa close. I was with my two nieces - in their 20s - and we all loved every minute.

I don’t think I can say enough positive things about my experience with Flore and Private Tours in Paris. Flore was kind and responsive and so helpful - really lovely to correspond with. The tour was absolutely amazing. The Louvre was very busy the day of our tour. Our guide commented that it was more crowded than usual. But his guidance made the crowds a non-issue. The skip-the-line experience getting in was a great start. He took us through the history of the Louvre first, which was really interesting. Then we visited the art highlights of the museum. He always found a good vantage to see the art and his descriptions and explanations were interesting and lively. We were spellbound. He was funny and warm as well as informative Without his help, we would have felt like we were tumbling through a sea of people. With his help, we hardly noticed them. Only the Mona Lisa was so mobbed with a shoulder-to-shoulder crowd we ran out of patience trying to get close. I recommend with enthusiasm!

Flore arranged for Louise to guide us for a full day tour of Versailles. She was very knowledgable and experienced and did a fantastic job. Her command of French history was impressive! She also arranged for lunch from a lovely bakery in town, and we had a nice picnic by the Grand Canal.

In May, Flore helpfully and efficiently booked us a 4 hour tour of the Ile de la Cité including visits to the Conciergerie, Sainte Chapelle & Notre Dame. Louvre by night: My husband has zero interest in art. The 2-hour evening tour of the Louvre hitting the highlights was perfect. Alix provided details and answered all of our random questions.
Versailles half day: Francois (spelling?) was completely lovely. She shared insights about the royal family moving to Versailles as we were leaving town so we were prepared. The palace was crowded, of course, so we popped out to the gardens. All in all, a splendid afternoon.

My husband and I came to Paris to celebrate our birthdays this year. I contacted Private Tours in Paris to set up a tour of Notre Dame and Sainte Chappelle. We had a wonderful tour guide . We arrived at Notre Dame at 8 AM, attended mass, and explored the beautiful Cathedral. Afterward, we had coffee and met our tour guide at the Cité metro station at 10:30. She was fantastic and shared fascinating historical details about both Notre Dame and Sainte-Chapelle. The tour also included detail about the architecture of both churches. We were particularly delighted to learn about the tympanum of the Last Judgment portal as you enter Notre Dame.The depiction of the little demons trying to tip the scales of the souls was memorable. St Chappelle has an equally memorable tympanum. We both love history which made this your wonderful and interesting.

Our tour guide, Stephanie, is an educator and it was obvious right from the start she was the perfect guide to lead our 6-year old son through the Louvre. My wife and I enjoyed an enchanting 3 hr walk-through Montmartre with Camila, our guide and historian. Aside from her obvious knowledge of the history and traditions of this village “outside the wall”, she was simply a charming person through and through, and that really came through on her tour and fostered an engaging experience that was relaxed and fun. She took us at our own pace, and was flexible enough to let us sit for wine and cheese at the end of our three hour tour. Although we left with the feeling that we’d only scratched the surface of this charming region of Paris, we now plan to return to it and explore it further on our own. Fluent in French, Spanish, and English, and now learning Italian, Camila should be your go-to for Montmartre and beyond, I can’t recommend her highly enough.

We really enjoyed our tours with Melanie and Iuiana, they were very informative and memorable. The kids had a great time with Iuliana and the treasure hunt, plus the adults also found it very informative. Also had a great adult tour with Melanie, she provided a lot of information on the exhibits that we visited and was very knowledgable.

The arrangements for the tour were very smooth, positive and professional. Our driver-Scandia-and our tour guide exceeded all expectations. Scandia was smooth, considerate and professional. Juliana was an absolute delight. Her knowledge of the subject matter was obviously all there -but she also brought us into Monet's world, and then again into the opulent life at Versailles. Before our arrival, we received some great background so we had our own individual knowledge base. It was terrific and totally enjoyable. We will return soon and will decide what else we're going to visit with these fine professionals.

Iuliana was absolutely wonderful!!! We did the 2 hour private treasure hunt tour and it was such a fun and special experience for all of us! It was probably my favorite thing we did in Paris during our time there! My son is 4 almost 5 and the tour was perfect for his age group, he was so engaged the entire time and had so much fun learning about each piece. It is such a huge/overwhelming museum that in order to really appreciate it and learn something you really have to go with a guide- this was the perfect way for my husband and I to also get to enjoy the museum as well as our son. It was so much fun getting to see him experience the louvre in such a unique way tailored to his age. She also had a workbook that he used throughout the tour that was perfect- and at the end she gave him a fun prize to congratulate him on completing the mission which he was very excited about. My son LOVED iuliana and immediately grabbed her hand and was so comfortable with her it was very sweet. She is really great with children and truly has a gift! She also taught us so much about art! The 2 hour tour was the perfect length of time for our son, but my husband and I didn’t want to leave! 10/10 recommend and hopefully one day we can come back in future for another tour!

The food tour was a favorite especially for the kids. Camila had wonderful food stops through Montmartre. She was so knowledgeable. I loved all the back streets she took us on to make it to Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre. Truly hidden treasures we would have missed visiting on our own.
Melanie was fantastic! My children would have been very miserable walking through the Louvre with my husband and I. Her knowledge of the history was incredible. I actually felt like the kids gained some knowledge and I appreciated her making it fun for all!

We booked 3 different guided tours. The guide on our 1st and 3rd day was Iuliana and on the second day it was Alix. Both guides were excellent. They had a deep knowledge of the Louvre as well as the relevant historical context. We thoroughly we enjoyed the time we spent with them. I will also note, because we had a private tour we were able to quickly access the museum without waiting in line for hours. Highly recommend booking these tours.

Wow! Our tour was perfect!! Highly recommend! We booked 2 tour guides due to the size of our group and Flore was so helpful in planning our tour. She helped pick the right day and time to suit our desires, asked the ages of the children in our group and gave suggestions, and because we struggled booking our tickets to the Louvre Flore gave advice and assistance with that. Flore arranged for us to tour with Stephanie and Pascal and we had such a great time. I don't think I'd ever visit another museum without a tour guide. You simply can not visit the Louvre without one. We split into two groups and Stephanie and Pascal customized each tour based on the ages of each group. One group did the Treasure Hunt for kids and they loved it. After the Louvre, we had lunch at a nearby Cafe and the kids continued working in their treasure hunt booklet, answering things they had not finished and writing their memories down. I highly recommend Flore, Stephanie and Pascal! Knowledgeable, Kind, Thorough, Prompt, great with communication, and enjoyable to spend the time with!!!

Our tour of the Louvre was tremendous and highly memorable because of our guide, Leontine. We have visited the Louvre a number of times in the past but this time, we were hosting some newcomers. Wanting to ensure that they had a perfect experience, we called upon Flore to provide the knowledge and experience to make it so. And she delivered! Our guide, Leontine, was unique in her knowledge, insights, personality and patience. I learned more about the Louvre in 3 hours that day than in all of my previous trips combined.
